Who this policy covers

This policy applies to visitors and community members using Coffee Go-go. Coffee Go-go is currently an independently operated recipe guide.

Account and community data

Joining requires a verified sign-in email so one person has one account. We use it to authenticate you, protect your creations and connect your profile, votes, saves and comments across devices. Your email is not displayed publicly. Your display name, published creations, ratings and comments are public.

Lawful bases and consent

We process account and community data to provide the service you request and to pursue legitimate interests in security, moderation and preventing duplicate or manipulated accounts. Optional coffee news and marketing email is based only on your separate consent. Refusing or withdrawing marketing consent does not affect community access. We store when required policies were accepted and when marketing consent was given or withdrawn.

Uploads, service data and sharing

Uploaded recipe photographs are stored publicly with the creation. Do not upload personal, confidential or location-revealing material. Hosting and sign-in providers may process technical logs and account data to deliver, secure and protect the service. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and your UK GDPR rights

Account records are kept while your profile remains active; public contributions may be retained where needed for moderation, legal claims or community continuity. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw marketing consent in your profile at any time. Use the Contact page for a rights request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Advertising

Coffee Go-go does not currently load Google advertising code. Before personalised advertising is introduced, this policy will be updated and a Google-certified consent platform enabled where required.
